This year's goal for
United Way of Southeastern Kentucky is $125,000. Meeting this
important goal will enable local agencies to address our people's
needs. This is an
opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children, senior
citizens, the sick,
the needy, our neighbors and ourselves.

| $4 a week provides 70 hot nourishing meals delivered to elderly, disabled or chronically ill people who are homebound | If you have an annual salary of $100,000 you can donate $150 per month, your total contribution would be $900 | |
| $6 a week provides 1 year of literacy tutoring for adult learning | ||
| $8 a week provides a victim of spouse abuse with a safe shelter and specialized services for 7 days | For other
salaries: $50,000/$75/$900 $25,000/$25/$300 |

| $10 a week provides 1 month of day care for a person with Alzheimers disease | $20,000/$10/$120 $15,000/$7.50/$90 $10,000/$5/$60 |
